If your kid is obsessed with Disney, this may be the perfect gift

Disney’s new immersive experience is touching down in Toronto to bring even more magic to the holiday season.

So many parents grew up with Disney movies, and that love extends to the current generation of kids obsessed with Frozen, Encanto and Turning Red. There’s just something magical about these stories, from their catchy songs to their relatable and inspirational characters. Those same Disney-loving kiddos often try to plant a (sometimes not-so-subtle) seed about wanting to go to Disneyland. It’s too bad there are no Disney theme parks anywhere in Canada.

But here’s some good news: Disney is coming to Canada!

An all-new Disney immersive experience is kicking off a North American tour in Toronto. This is a collaboration between Walt Disney Animation Studios and Lighthouse Immersive Studios, the company behind artist experiences like Immersive Van Gogh. Kids who love Disney can immerse themselves in the magic of The Lion King, Moana, Aladdin, Frozen, Encanto and more right in their own backyard—and just in time for you to knock a holiday gift off your list.

Starting on Dec. 21, you and your kids will have a chance to see your favourite Disney characters come to life through this immersive art experience. There will be some interactive elements that children can engage with before and after entering the gallery. Check out this video for a better idea of what to expect:

Admittedly, the ticket prices might be a turn-off for some parents. There are three tiers: basic, premium and VIP. The basic option is the most straightforward, offering entry to the exhibit for $34.99 per person. On the other hand, the pricier VIP tickets will cost you $89.99 per person, but includes perks like an interactive wristband, guest concierge services and the ability to skip the line.

If you know this is just what your Disney lover needs for the holidays, act fast as the dates near Christmas are selling out quickly. You can purchase tickets to “Disney Animation: Immersive Experience” on the website. That’s one gift down! (And many, many more to go, sigh).
